Didi Beauty Lights Up ULWS Hall Week: Empowering Ladies Through Makeup Magic
Ever heard of a girls' hostel that throws a week-long celebration dedicated to everything beauty, self-care and fun? That's exactly what went down at the recent University of Lagos Women’s Society Hall Week, and Didi Beauty was excited to be the headline sponsor!

ULWS hosted their hall week and it was a vibrant celebration of unity, empowerment, and fun. This annual event was designed to foster a sense of community among the ladies, offering a variety of activities that promote self-care, learning, and enjoyment. As you know, Didi Beauty is all about self-care, confidence, and affordable beauty for everyone.
The week kicked off with GIRLTOPIA on Friday, a fun-filled day featuring a silent disco. The atmosphere was electric with excitement and laughter as the ladies danced the night away, creating an unforgettable start to the Hall Week celebrations, and Didi Beauty product perks were given to all members of the Didi Divas community in the ULWS
Yes, that’s right Didi Beauty has a community called Didi Divas and all divas get to feel supported and enjoy all the perks there are to offer from our community.
Saturday was dedicated to self-care. The activities continued with a Speed Mixer, allowing the ladies to connect, form new friendships, and share Didi Beauty’s products with their newly found friends. This was followed by a candid and informative session on body positivity and sexual health, titled “Sex Talk: Body, Sex & Soul.” The day culminated with a Health Talk, providing valuable insights into maintaining overall well-being.
Thereafter, the Didi Divas community was introduced to the girls by Manuela Onyeiwu, and she stated the importance of being a diva as a woman and how having a healthy makeup routine can improve your self-care and self-intimacy. Abayomi Ogunleye engaged with the new Divas, who shared their confidence-boosting beauty routines, favorite Didi Beauty products, and makeup rituals for tough days. The session was both interesting and engaging.
The ULWS Hall Week ended with a Makeup Master Class held on Sunday. This exclusive event offered attendees who became Didi Divas and received the opportunity to learn from top beauty experts and gain valuable insights into the latest makeup trends and techniques using Didi Beauty’s products. To make the experience even more memorable, each attendee received a comprehensive Makeup Package from Didi Beauty to help them perfect their skills. The day concluded with a cozy movie night, providing a relaxing end to an action-packed week.
