Someone Stopped at Our Dallas Booth and Prayed Over Us Here's Why That Moment Broke Us Open

We have been to many exhibitions. We have set up tables, arranged products, stood on our feet for hours, and packed everything back up at the end of the day.

But what happened in Dallas was different.

The Booth. The Moment. The Prayer.

Didi Beauty was at I'm New Here Dallas an event built around community, entrepreneurship, and new beginnings. We came to represent. What happened at the booth reminded us what we are really representing.

A woman stopped. And in the middle of a busy exhibition floor in Dallas, Texas, she prayed over the founder and over this brand.

It gave us chills.

Because that moment was not new. It was familiar deeply, achingly familiar. Back home in Africa, women used to come to our exhibitions just to pray with the founder. Or with the team, when she wasn't there. They came not just for the products but for what the brand represented to them. Something made for them. Something that saw them.

Feeling that same love in Dallas thousands of miles from Lagos was the kind of moment where you go quiet and think: God, this is exactly where we're supposed to be.

This Is Bigger Than Makeup

At Didi Beauty, we have always said that confidence isn't something you earn someday. It's something you choose today. And that booth in Dallas was proof of what happens when a community pours that belief into each other.

Women stopped. They talked. They laughed. They shared. And they reminded us that what we are building has never just been a beauty brand. It's a space where women of colour feel seen whether they're in Lagos, London, or Dallas.

Events like I'm New Here Dallas exist for exactly this reason. Not just for shopping. For community. For friendship. For reminding every woman in that room that none of us has to do life alone.

NBC DFW African Beauty on American Television

Before the event, Didi Beauty appeared live on NBC DFW.

An African brand. A Lagos story. On American network television in Texas.

We are grateful not just for the platform, but for what it means to every woman back home who has ever wondered if the things we build here can compete out there. They can. They do. We were on NBC to prove it.

We are so grateful to represent Didi Beauty in this way and to be part of a community that continues to champion entrepreneurs and new beginnings. This moment belongs to every Didi Diva who believed in this brand before the world was watching.

We Are Going Back

The conversations. The hugs. The laughter. The prayers.

We cannot wait to see everyone at the booth again. Dallas has become part of our story now and the story keeps getting better.

Our roots are Nigerian. Our vision is global. Our story is African. And the world is beginning to understand that.

This is the brand you helped build. Thank you for being part of it from the beginning.
